For both the Twinkle and Star classes, students will begin the year on home-made practice violins and transition to real violins in week 4. These classes are parent participation classes, and parents need to be present throughout the entire class plus  commit to daily home practice together with their child.  Parents do not have to have any musical knowledge or need their own instruments!  This class is all about having fun with the violin while learning proper form & skills. Singing, rhythm games, and simple songs build skills and confidence! Students do not need to have music stands for this class.

Beginning violin for grades 3-5.  No experience necessary! Students start the year on real violins, (as opposed to practice violins, like the Twinkle & Star Classes) and learn note reading from the very start! We play fun songs with online backing tracks while learning basic skills necessary for beautiful playing. Parent participation required for first 15 minutes of each class period and strongly encouraged throughout the entire class, especially for younger students.
