Adult Strings Class & Chamber Ensemble - Grab your instrument and come play! If you have always wanted to play the violin, viola or cello, or are already playing and would like to play with others, come and play with us! Open string parts available if you're just starting out, and more advanced parts and harmonies available for players that are ready for more. This is an ongoing class that meets on most Wednesday evenings. Our schedule is posted for members in our Google classroom.
Participants need to bring their own instrument and a music stand. A binder for music is helpful, and music is available in our google classroom to print out.
6:00 Basic Technique - for beginning string players and for those wishing to focus on core technique. No experience necessary!
6:30 Beginning / Intermediate Strings Class - Simple exercises, fiddle tunes & fun songs make up the class for beginning to intermediate string players. Beginners are welcome to stay after the 6:00 basic technique class.
7:30 Adult Chamber Ensemble - Intermediate - advanced level chamber music. Participants should have prior experience on their instrument and have good note reading skills. Participants in this class are welcome to attend the 6:30 beginner class for no extra cost.
