Anne Plescia - Violin, Viola, Piano
Anne is a versatile musician, starting her violin journey at the tender age of 3. Graduating from the University of the Pacific with a double major in violin and viola performance, she has since made her mark on both stage and social media. Anne’s career highlights include touring South Korea as the violinist for Chicago the Musical and holding prominent positions in Sacramento chamber groups and orchestras, showcasing her exceptional talent as a violinist and violist. Her captivating presence extends to TikTok, where she is recognized for her violin covers of pop and R&B hits, reposted and recognized by artists such as Alicia Keys and SZA. For the past four years, Anne has shared her expertise by teaching violin, viola, and piano to students of all ages. Anne is currently accepting new students of all ages on Saturdays at the Pease Conservatory. and as additional times available for online appointments. Lila Cesar (Violin, Bass)
Lila is a rising musician within the Sacramento community. She is a member of the Premier Orchestra, the top orchestra of the Sacramento Youth Symphony. At her school, she plays bass for the world-renowned AM Jazz Ensemble. Lila currently offers lessons for beginning to intermediate violinists and jazz/pop/funk bassists. SacIMA founder and director Ingrid Tracy has taught hundreds of students in her 30+ year teaching career, and has seen her students go on to enjoy successful careers as professional musicians and music educators, as well as teachers, doctors, engineers, lawyers, and other well-rounded professionals who carry with them a deep connection, understanding, and love of music.
Ingrid is a trained instructor of the Suzuki violin method, and is well-versed in both classical and contemporary styles including fiddle and jazz violin. She specializes in beginners of all ages and technique rehabilitation. Ingrid is also available for audition coaching. |
