Anne Hatmaker Delgado began her Suzuki violin studies at the Preucil School of Music at the age of three and was nurtured in a rich musical environment. Over the past fifteen years, she has taught violin in both her private studio as well as in school orchestra programs. and has experience teaching a wide range of ages and skill levels. She has studied with Mathais Tacke of the Vermeer Quartet as well as Catherine Van Hoesen, a member of the San Francisco Symphony.
After playing with the Madison Symphony Orchestray as a contracted violinist for thirteen years, Anne moved to California where she currently performs with a number of professional orchestras, including the Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera, the Modesto Symphony, and the California Chamber Orchestra. In addition to a background in music, Anne has an educational psychology degree. She has also completed Suzuki violin teacher training courses at institutes in Atlanta, Ithaca, and Northern California. She is a member of the Suzuki Music Association of California, and has facilitated Parents as Partners groups both in Davis and San Diego. She recently released her debut picture book, titled Sing, Mama, Sing. Anne is currently accepting new students on weekday mornings and Saturday afternoons. |
